The first step to planning a successful event is to LISTEN to your client. Get a clear understanding of what the client's vision is. Ask your client how they want their guests to feel not only during the event, but after as well. Ask a lot of questions (not only about their budget). Find out the type of atmosphere they want and use your creativity to set it. Once you fully have knowledge of the clients vision, you will be on your way to planning a successful event. Remember, a happy client is a returning client and also your own personal advertiser.
