MY 2 Cents on the strike!
Lack of TRUE Unity is why we have the problems that we have now. When our Educators are unhappy to the point of a strike, Our parents should get the kids, bring them out to join the strike,. If there is no $ for teachers, then how does the CPS keep buying airtime for teacher-bashing commercials? How can they offer community partners $ to babysit while the teachers strike. I have an idea...Just pay them! People keep saying "What about the children?" I say that this is for the children! My life's mission is to Make A Difference in the lives of young people. Start by making the teachers happy!
