How many times have you requested bids or proposals from multiple sources, but you already knew who was going to get the business? I know I have...Well, that used to be a part of my corporate "job". I busted my butt getting apples-to-apples numbers from hungry and thirsty, well qualified businesses, when I knew good and well "corporate" was going to have the Board select their favorites. Obviously getting those numbers was my job...not helping a Board make the best decision. Glad those days are over!
Well, whaddya know? I suspect I'm being used for...yep...numbers. I'm wondering what are the best questions I can ask the prospect that really ask "Are you SERIOUS?". I know they're not together. Thats why they need my help. lol. I'm wondering if I should pull back on my red carpet proposals and just give 'em what they want...the numbers.
