Next week will be busy with returns and refund requests.  Offer refunds on gift cards.  This keeps the money in your store and allows your customers to use the refund for anything they want and at any time they like.  Most of the larger retailers are doing this now since it offers a flexible return policy that's good for both you and your customers.

Section 179 of the IRS tax code allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment and/or software purchased or financed during the tax year.  That means that if you buy (or lease) a piece of qualifying equipment, you can deduct the FULL PURCHASE PRICE from your gross income.  It's an incentive created by the U.S. government to encourage businesses to buy equipment and invest in themselves.  Contact FDIS-EBA today at…
