- The CakeHouse is a home based business. I, Shannon Sams, am a wife, mother and jack of all trades. I'm not sure if I master any. I love baking and decorating, when an idea comes to me i can see it as clearly as a picture. I've found that decorating a cake takes patience and a steady hand. I pride myself on using the freshest ingredients for the best possible product . I have 10 inch bakery style cakes. I love what I do and I hope it shows in my work. I specialize in all occasion cakes. My cakes may be a little higher than a "grocery store" cake but it will definitely be worth it. My cakes are made to order so you will always get the freshest cake possible
