@Miche11e_Diane: Esemplastic: The tag word of 21st century business

Esemplastic ~ that’s a big word that most can’t define and many think is made up. So, what the heck does it mean and how can it be the tag word of 21st century business?Es-em-plas-tic: adjective ~ having the ability to shape diverse elements or concepts into a unified whole: the esemplastic power of a great mind to simplify the difficult. (Random House, 2014) Isn’t shaping diversity into unity a primary challenge, perhaps…See More

@Miche11e_Diane: What did You Celebrate This Independence Day?

Wassup esemplastic thinkers? That would be you if you’re seeking and implementing creative ways to bridge the gap between your vision and your circumstances and isn’t that the thread of common ground that runs between us all? Entrepreneurs and activists, parents, teachers and ministers even trolls, aren’t we all looking for ways to propel our efforts to the next level and manifest our dreams?Independence Day is Friday and Americans will be celebrating freedom coast to coast, but what about you?…See More

Three Actionable Steps via @Miche11e_Diane towards Preventing Police State Injury/Execution

Good morning African America and the rest of y’all. Thank you for stopping by; I’m grateful you’ve decided to spend a bit on your long weekend with me.Was struggling with what to say this morning; y’all know how I feel about “holidays” like this one and I know you’ve heard the “What the heck are we celebrating rant” too many times to want to hear it again. So off I go surfing for news and distraction, and after reading about a 2-year-old shot at point blank range, catching up on the Dr. Ersula…See More

Profile Information

Tell us a little about your Black Owned Business or Blog (no links or url's please) in 300 words max- we will share this on approval with our 250K network!
I provide writing, marketing, consulting and coaching services to solopreneurs and direct marketers.
Why did you become an Entrepreneur?
One day when I was 12, my mother was going downtown to put a cloth coat in lay-a-way. I just couldn't wrap my mind around what was going on. Between them, my parents had nearly 50 years of federal employment; I'd listened to their rants about their unjust experiences for as long as I could remember and after all their time in service, after all the abuse they'd suffered she had to put a CLOTH coat on lay-a-way?

Made up my mind that day that the work a slave world wasn't for me. Made the mistake of saying so and got the worst beating of my life. But 40 plus years later, I'm still innovating, participating, contributing and prospering.
Why did you choose your business niche?
Tools, information, support and encouragement can be difficult to find and cost prohibitive to obtain for solopreneurs and direct marketers particularly newbies and those on a shoestring budget. I choose this niche because I've been there, knocked down and blessed with the strength to get back up. Not having a clue which way up was and wanting the freedom, the victory of building something of my own. I choose this niche because I believe that establishing a independent economy is the only hope for millions of Americans and their communities.
Most Exciting Life Experience?
Remembering that I am a magnificent creature with an infinite abundance of love and power to give and you are too.
What's your Favorite Quote?
If you believe you can or you believe you can't, you're right.

[FOOD FOR THOUGHT]

“The man who stops advertising to save money is like the man who stops the clock to save time”

Why Is It... A man wakes up in the morning after sleeping in an advertised bed, washes with an advertised soap, shaves with an advertised razor, sits down and drinks advertised tea or coffee, drives to work in an advertised car and writes with an advertised pen. Then... He refuses to advertise, saying "Advertising doesn't work". But when his business fails, he finally advertises: "Business for Sale" - Anonymous
