Hey Marguerite! Just wanted to give you an update on the gout. I saw a rheumatologist 2 weeks ago. He felt as I did that this gout was not food related, but more hereditary. The company It Works for which I'm a distributor for has a naturopath and medical doctor, Dr. Don VanHultz. He suggested 2 of our products, Vital (vitamins made from whole foods), Greens (alkalizes the body), cherry juice and flax seed oil. I have also been drinking alkaline water too along with his suggestions. So far so good. Will keep you posted.

Hi Carla, thanks for joining the group and you are my "home girl." I was born and raised in Detroit myself.
As far as the gout and natural alternatives you have to continue to take your apple cider vinegar and cherries on a regular basis. I would take a closer look at your diet. It could be things in the diet that make the gout worst. Do you know your blood type? Eating right for your blood type makes a big difference. I can share facts on your blood type if you know it.

Hi Marguerite! Ryan suggested I join your group after I told him I was suffering with the gout lol! But seriously, you know gout is no joke. Is there anything that you can recommend? I have tried the apple cider vinegar and the cherries. They helped for a minute, but now for long. I am just getting over one of the worst attacks I have had in a while.

definitely....that is the old school remedy. My cousin has it all over her face and body she has to take $150 every two week and her grandmother was like Lye soap will clear it up and it did until she ran out of it. Def. do your research.
