RB, one of the ways that I know will attract new readers is to give aways snipets of your book- so you can garner their attention!

Ok, I totally get that, and I have done that. But even at book signings, I find that no matter how good the synopsis on the back of my book is, a lot of readers will shoot for a known author, as opposed to getting an autographed copy of an authors book that may be worth something in the future.

I will tell you that my mentor says to write and give away your first book for book totally- that will build the suspense for 2nd one- plus when giving it away- you collect email addresses and names so that you can stay in touch for future releases!
